Extension to Schanzstraße 13
Dear guests,
We are delighted to announce that the Hotel City Krone is expanding! The adjacent building at Schanzstraße 13 is currently undergoing energy-efficiency refurbishment and will soon be directly connected to our hotel.
What’s new?
- Spacious fitness and wellness areas for even more relaxation and activity.
- Modern apartment-style rooms for longer stays and the utmost comfort.
Construction progress:
- The demolition work will be completed by the end of December 2025.
- Work on adding storeys and rebuilding will then commence.
- Completion and opening are scheduled for January 2027.
Are there any restrictions?
- During the construction phase, there may be temporary restrictions on parking and some minor noise disturbance.
- We are doing our best to keep any disruption to our guests to a minimum.

We’ve got a new addition at the Hotel City Krone: Cecilia, our new service robot, is now helping out the breakfast team – quiet, smart and always in a good mood. A little helper who brings our guests even more comfort!

A summer morning on Lake Constance, the sort you rarely experience: between Fischbach and Friedrichshafen, the lake revealed its magical side in the first light of day. Calm, clear, utterly still – a moment that simply had to be captured on camera.
