GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. the guest accommodation contract is concluded as soon as the room / function room has been ordered or confirmed, or if a confirmation was no longer possible due to time constraints, has been made available.
2. the conclusion of the guest accommodation contract (rental contract) obliges the contracting parties to fulfil the contract, regardless of the duration of the contract. The contract cannot be cancelled unilaterally.
3. option dates are binding for both contracting parties. After expiry of the option dates, the hotel reserves the right to let reserved rooms / function rooms to other parties.
4. reserved hotel rooms are available to the guest from 15:00. Unless a later arrival time has been expressly agreed, the hotel reserves the right to allocate reserved hotel rooms to other guests after 18:00.
5. the guest does not acquire any claim to the provision of specific rooms / function rooms. If agreed rooms are not available, the hotel is obliged to endeavour to find an equivalent replacement outside the hotel, insofar as this is reasonable.
6. if the period between the conclusion of the contract and the provision of the service exceeds 180 days, the hotel reserves the right to make price changes without prior notice. Changes to the pro rata VAT rate shall be borne by the customer, irrespective of the date of conclusion of the contract.
7. invoices are payable on departure without deduction. (Tour groups pay on departure or on account within 10 days). To secure the reservation, tour groups / coach groups must pay a deposit of 50% of the tour price up to 4 weeks before arrival. For payments by credit card, the minimum amount is € 10.00.
8. if the contractual services are not utilised, the guest is obliged to pay the agreed or customary price, less the expenses saved by the hotel. According to experience, the savings amount to 10% of the accommodation price for overnight stays.
9. in order to ensure an orderly process for group bookings (20 persons or more), the customer / service recipient is obliged to provide the hotel with the list of participants 30 days before the group's arrival. Cancellation of reserved hotel rooms / function rooms is possible free of charge for service recipients / service providers up to 45 days before arrival. In the event of cancellation at a later date, the hotel will charge a cancellation fee in accordance with the DEHOGA statutes, depending on the date of cancellation. Cancellations of individual persons are free of charge up to 2 days before arrival. After that we charge 80% of the travel price
10. the hotel is obliged in good faith to allocate unused rooms / function rooms elsewhere if possible in order to avoid cancellations. Until the rooms / function rooms are reallocated, the customer must pay the expenses of 80%.
11. bookings require a reservation confirmation from us. The accommodation contract is only concluded upon our written confirmation of the reservation.
12. if laws and/or regulations prohibit the fulfilment of the contract, the contract shall be deemed cancelled by mutual agreement.
13. cancellations due to postponements or cancellations of events will be handled accommodatingly, but will be examined and decided by us on a case-by-case basis.
14. it is forbidden to store or charge batteries of e-bikes and pedelecs in the hotel room.
15. all prices are inclusive of the statutory VAT rates applicable at the time the service is provided. Should the tax rates change, the new rates shall be deemed to have been agreed and the resulting final prices shall be owed.
